The 8th round of the World Rally Championship, Rally of Turkey, was held between 12th and 15th of June in Antalya. On this demanding organization, TELSAN used ICOM radios.

Since Turkey started hosting a round of the World Rally Championship in 2003, the organisers of the rally, Turkish Automobile Federation has trusted TELSAN and its expert crew and ICOM radios.

Using over 150 radios and 5 repeaters located at the summit of the 2365 meter Tahtali mountain, TELSAN accomplished quality and uninterrupted radio communications throughout the rally. Clerk of the Course for the Rally Mr. Metin Ceker commented on TELSAN's performance throughout the rally: "The whole world was watching us over the weekend. TELSAN and ICOM's performance contributed greatly to the smooth operation of the whole organization. In my opinion, this weekend was a great success. I look forward to continuing our partnership in the next Rally of Turkey, two years from now."
